  1. My “revolutionary” ideas come out of the blue but are generally linked to an experience or encounter I’ve had in the past. So maybe that not really out of the blue–maybe just a delayed reaction–giggle

  2. I love this. I love the theory that ideas are alive. I believe this! For myself, creativity has always been there, no escape or reason. I find that an idea comes, and it is a work in progress……it grows and changes. One of those most satisfying part of creativity, is all of the decisions and problem solving that comes with it.

    I believe an artist that isn’t creating is simply……..

    A crazy person.

  3. Ideas up there in the sky? Um, pie in the sky, more like. Ideas build on other ideas that people have had before. Ideas are connections in our brains and creativity is the making of connections in ways that are (a little bit) new. Thanks for another thought-provoking post!

  4. I stopped watching TED Talks after they started embracing batshit “philosophers” over people like Dawkins and Neil Degrasse Tyson. Some of it is fun to think about but you gain nothing by knowing it.
